Sean Stokes of Federated member Canadian Tire Corporation has been awarded the Art Fisher Memorial Award, the highest and most prestigious Federated honor. The award was presented to Stokes by Federated CEO Sue Godschalk at the recent Automotive Parts Services Group conference.

“The Art Fisher Memorial Award is the highest distinction Federated can present to a member, and this year we are proud to honor Sean Stokes for his outstanding dedication to the mission and values of Federated,” said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts. “This award reflects a longstanding tradition of leadership, engagement and commitment to the success of the Federated membership. My father would be incredibly proud to recognize Sean for his steadfast support and the important contributions he continues to make to Federated and the broader aftermarket industry.” 

Stokes is a seasoned retail and merchandising executive with more than 22 years of leadership experience at Canadian Tire Corporation. As vice president of automotive parts merchandising and general manager of PartSource since 2017, he has led strategic growth and category innovation within the automotive retail sector across Canada. Throughout his tenure, Stokes has held a series of senior leadership roles at Canadian Tire, demonstrating deep expertise in merchandising, data-driven decision-making and operational leadership. In addition to his corporate leadership, Stokes also served on the Canadian Marketing Association Ethics and Standards Committee, contributing to industry best practices and ethical standards in marketing.

Named after Federated founder Art Fisher, the Art Fisher Memorial Award is presented annually to a member of the Federated group who has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the success of Federated Auto Parts, its members and initiatives. Award recipients also have a history of sharing their time and expertise for the benefit of all members and have held industry roles, representing the interests of the Federated membership.
