Some 40 Acklands Ltd. alumni gathered in Red Deer on Thursday, April 20, where Acklands, Westward Tools and Bumper to Bumper veterans reminisced and broke bread together. 

Altogether, there were over 1300 years of industrial, automotive and tool experience in the room. Former employees came as far away as Port Coquitlam.

Past Acklands President Doug Cumming and former Westward Tool General Manager Bob Jones addressed the assembly.

Reunion organizer – and Acklands supreme memorabilia collector – Ted Sherring stated he was pleased with the results. Ted received overwhelming applause for his efforts at putting together the reunion gathering, and received a very positive response to the prospect of undertaking another reunion in 2024!
