The Bay Auto stores will be converted to Uni-Select Bumper to Bumper corporate stores withing the next 24 months.

Canadian automotive aftermarket distribution network Uni-Select Inc. has announced that Uni-Select Ontario Stores Inc. has acquired the assets of Bay Auto & Truck Parts Ltd. and Bay Auto & Truck Parts (2012) Ltd.

The Bay Auto acquisition was effective February 1, 2020.”Bay Auto has been a member of the Uni-Select network for over 20 years and we are proud to welcome their 66 employees to our team,” said the network in a statement.

Strategically located in Barrie, Innisfil and Orillia, Ontario, these locations will become Bumper to Bumper corporate stores within the next 24 months. Says Uni-Select: “The combined expertise in automotive products and services will strengthen our service offering in the region.”

In Canada, the network supplies more than 16,000 automotive repair and collision repair shops through more than 1,100 independent customers and over 70 company-owned stores, many of which operate under the BUMPER TO BUMPER, AUTO PARTS PLUS AND FINISHMASTER store banner programs. It also supports over 3,900 shops through its automotive repair/installer shop banners, as well as through its automotive refinish banners.
