UAP, a leader in automotive parts distribution and merchandising, has announced the acquisition of Pièces d’auto Simon André, a family business that has operated in Trois-Rivières since 1979.

Founded by Simon André more than 40 years ago, the company has diversified its services over the years to become an important player in the Mauricie auto service market.

Pièces d’auto Simon André offers exemplary customer service thanks to its knowledgeable employees, large product inventory, and fast delivery service.

Furthermore, Mr. André has gone green in recent years by converting to an all-electric fleet of delivery vehicles.

His company is the first in Canada to have a 50 kWh fast charger for commercial use.

Adding this innovative team to the NAPA network opens up many opportunities for electric vehicle training and parts distribution.

“We are proud and honoured that Simon André and his son, Dominic André, have chosen NAPA to take the reins of their business.

“We’re pleased to welcome their team members and excited about the possibilities this collaboration will bring to our company,” says Dominic Baribeau, General Sales Manager for NAPA, Quebec Region.

“We’re also very pleased to know that we can count on Simon and Dominic’s collaboration over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in customer service excellence.”

The NAPA Auto Parts network comprises more than 600 stores across Canada and serves a large customer base of automotive service providers and retailers.
