A noted Montreal area three-store group has been acquired by the UAP Inc. to be part of the NAPA Auto Parts network.

The Dorval Auto Parts comprises some 22,000 square feet of space with a large inventory positioed in one of the most densely populated areas of Montreal’s West Island.

The Des Sources store adds to this significant presence in the West Island, while the St-Henri store provides a presence closer to the heart of the Montreal.

UAP notes that as a result of the acquisiton, the NAPA store located in Pointe-Claire at 294 Larose Street (#184) will be closed so it can be integrated into the newsly acquired Des Sources Auto Parts store in Pierrefonds.

In mid- 2022 theLacroix family group announced its decision to join the NAPA banner, bringing stores in Laval, Saint-Eustache, Terrebonne, Boisbriand, and Mirabel stores into the NAPA Auto Parts associate stores network.

In August of 2023 it announced that two major Laurentians auto parts stores had joined the NAPA banner. Pièces d’auto Ste-Agathe and Pièces d’auto des Sommets became NAPA Auto Parts associate stores. This partnership, it said, will allow NAPA to consolidate its position as a leader in the Laurentians region. NAPA now serves the entire territory between Montreal and Mont-Laurier.
