Niterra North America, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of spark plugs and oxygen sensors, has announced the appointment of Mark Gibson as General Manager of Canadian Sales Operations.
Gibson, who previously served as Manager of National Sales, brings over 25 years of international sales leadership and strategic expertise to the role. He will report directly to Kirt Denman, Director of Aftermarket.
In his new role, Gibson will be the main point of contact for cross-functional teams in the United States and will serve as the lead representative for Niterra’s global accounts in Canada. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Canadian sales department, developing long-term growth strategies, and managing the diversification of products and markets in both the automotive and non-automotive sectors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mark into this new role,” said Kirt Denman.
“With his extensive experience in profit and loss management and his talent for building high-performing sales teams, he is the perfect leader to drive our growth plans for the next three to ten years. His deep understanding of the Canadian market will be crucial as we strive to deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
Gibson, a Niterra associate for 4 years, has a distinguished career spanning the UK and Canada. Before joining Niterra, he served as a Business Development Manager at Direct Energy Business, where he successfully managed large-scale industrial accounts and commodity hedging strategies.
Before that, he held senior leadership roles at Canadian Energy, where he was instrumental in tripling Ontario revenue and restructuring national sales engagement strategies.
“I am excited to take on this new role at such a crucial moment in the company’s evolution,” said Mark Gibson. “My priorities will be mentoring our talented sales team, strengthening our relationships with key stakeholders, and implementing data-driven strategies to ensure Niterra remains the preferred partner in the Canadian automotive aftermarket and beyond.”
Gibson holds a BA (Honours) Degree in Business Studies with Japanese, a background that aligns seamlessly with Niterra’s global heritage and collaborative corporate culture.
