Bestbuy Distributors has announced the promotion of Nasir Masoud to National Sales Manager, a move that reflects both the company’s growth ambitions and Masoud’s deep roots across multiple segments of the Canadian automotive aftermarket.

“Nasir brings a disciplined, execution-focused approach, deep knowledge of our shareholder-driven model, and strong vendor relationships. In this role, he will lead our BDM team nationally. This appointment reinforces our focus on accountability, leadership depth, and long-term growth,” said Bestbuy Distributors in a statement.

Masoud joined Bestbuy Distributors in December 2021 as Business Development Manager, where he played a key role in strengthening customer relationships, expanding national account activity, and supporting Bestbuy’s position as a trusted distribution partner. In his new role, he will oversee national sales strategy, field execution, and continued market development across Canada.

Masoud brings more than two decades of aftermarket experience to the position, spanning manufacturing, distribution, and retail operations.

Prior to joining Bestbuy, he served as National Account Manager at Timken Canada, where he worked closely with major customers on bearing and power transmission solutions.

He also held a senior role as Director of Sales at Premium Guard Inc. (PGI), further broadening his exposure to brand strategy and sales leadership.

A significant portion of Masoud’s career was spent with Schaeffler Group Canada, where he worked for nearly a decade as an Account Executive supporting the automotive aftermarket brands LuK, FAG, and INA. In that role, he built long-term relationships with jobbers and service providers while developing a strong understanding of technical products and market dynamics.

Earlier in his career, Masoud gained hands-on operational experience at the store level. He served as a Corporate Hub Store Manager with PartSource, overseeing a $2.5 million inventory, supporting more than 250 commercial accounts, and leading a team of 40 employees. His background also includes parts and management roles with Canadian Tire, Budd’s BMW, and Erin Mills Volvo.
