Lordco Auto Parts reports that more than 9,000 people attended its 32nd Annual Tradeshow held on April 4-5 at the Pacific Coliseum and PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, BC.

The event marked the first in-person trade show for Western Canada’s largest aftermarket retailer and distributor since 2019.

Event attendees lined up at the show entrance at noon, an hour before doors were to open, in anticipation of the chance to connect with 220 exhibitors, some of Lordco Auto Parts’ most popular vendors.

Red Sheet Specials, limited-time savings on select products Lordco Auto Parts carries at its 90 locations were the main draw at the show. As were the over 10,000 catalogue items offered at some of the lowest prices of the year, making the event a perfect opportunity for Lordco Auto Parts customers to stock up and save on the items they routinely use.

While buying automotive parts, tools, equipment, and more was the priority of show attendees, fun was a close second.

Many attendees lined up to get autographs and photos with Mike Hall and Avery Shoaf of popular reality program Rust Valley Restorers. Others stopped to admire and photograph the range of cars on display—from a Batmobile replica by Jellybean AutoCrafters of Surrey, BC, to a customized Mini by Spectre Vehicle Designs of North Vancouver, BC. Some took a chance and entered the many booth draws offered by exhibitors at the show.

Lordco Auto Parts wishes to congratulate the following supplier draw winners:

  • Mandeep Johal of Team Auto Repair & Electric in Surrey, BC, winner of a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nevada from ACDelco.
  • Chris Vo-Vu of Midas in North Vancouver, BC, winner of a Max Verstappen autographed Red Bull cap from Armor All.
  • Gyan Prakash Chand of Veers Auto in Surrey, BC, winner of an Outdoor-themed giveaway from First Brands Group.
  • Garth Hansen of Walnut Grove Auto in Langley, BC, winner of a toolbox from G2S TOBEQ.
  • Cat Revell of Irvine Chow Auto in Burnaby, BC, winner of an LCD TV from KYB Shocks & Struts
  • Mark Krasicki of United Auto Parts in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, winner of a custom golf cart from Kleen-Flo

“I was very happy with the show turn out,” said Sarah Durant, vice president of marketing at Lordco Auto Parts.

“The mood during both days of the event was very celebratory. Personally, I had not seen some of our customers in over two years due to the pandemic. The show was a great opportunity to say hello, check in, and welcome everyone back.”

Durant is the daughter of Ed Coates, one of the founding partners of Lordco Auto Parts.

“The trade show is very important to all of us at Lordco Auto Parts. It meant so much to my family, our team, and customers to bring back a much-loved tradition,” explained Sarah.
