KYB released new applications in every one of the last 12 months, with a total of 154 new part numbers being made available in 2023.

KYB released new applications in every one of the last 12 months, with a total of 154 new part numbers being made available in 2023.

KYB is always researching, designing and testing new shock and strut figments to expand its long list of vehicle applications.

“We focus our efforts on providing the part numbers our customer’s demand. These include late model, high VIO (Vehicles in Operation) applications as well as older name plates that are still on the road and in high use,” stated Andy Castleman, KYB’s Director of Product and Marketing.

“We are increasingly focused on the demands of the market and our customers. We have a lot of new releases planned for 2024, and our customers will continue to see a steady flow of new part numbers from us each month.”

KYB Americas Product Manager Guna Sathyamurthy says “KYB doesn’t take a ‘one size fits all’ approach when releasing new products. Our fitments are very specific to the vehicle. When we release a new part number, you can be sure it has been designed to restore the original design and handling characteristics of that specific vehicle.”

KYB was first to market with 115 vehicles in 2023. Of the 154 new part numbers released, many were high-demand Strut-Plus or Truck-Plus complete assemblies.

KYB now offers over 600 complete assemblies, and the total number of KYB part numbers to well over 4,000.
