Kelly Thompson has been appointed as Strategic Account Manager for Canada, Valvoline Global Operations.
Thompson brings nearly three decades of automotive aftermarket experience to the role, including extensive background in sales development, product management, marketing, and business operations across the Atlantic Canadian market.
He has been with Valvoline since 2017, most recently serving as Territory Business Manager based in Moncton, N.B., where he worked closely with customers across the region on business development and account support initiatives.
Prior to joining Valvoline, Thompson spent 20 years with Uni-Select Inc. in a series of progressively senior roles, including Business Development Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Products and Marketing Manager for Atlantic Canada.
During his time with Uni-Select, Thompson oversaw regional marketing programs, promotions, inventory management, replenishment strategy, and product line performance while supporting sales growth and operational efficiency across the region.
In his new role with Valvoline, Thompson will focus on strategic account development and strengthening customer relationships across the Canadian market.
