HDAP Discount Auto Parts Trade Show 2026 connects customers and vendors

The 2026 HDAP Discount Auto Parts Trade Show held at The Michelangelo Banquet Centre in Hamilton, Ont., boasted exciting turnout in terms of attendance and success for exhibitors.

The showroom appeared nearly at capacity with industry attendees viewing new products and catalogues, connecting with colleagues, and enjoying demonstrations.

The overwhelming feedback from brand exhibitors was positive for business and overall engagement. Trade show hours strategically work around business owner’s schedules, and by the evening, the show was at peak attendance.

HDAP Discount Auto Parts was also proud to raise over $6k in charitable donations for McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, through contributions from vendors, attendees, and sponsors.

“We’re really pleased with the turnout tonight- it couldn’t be better, honestly,” said a staff member for Milwaukee, who was showcasing numerous part numbers at their station. Raffle contests and numerous giveaways contributed to the excitement and engagement of the evening. The night closed after an evening of anticipation for grand prize raffle winners.

Between highly engaging with attendees and exhibitors on the show floor, HDAP Discount Auto Parts Owner and CEO Khaled Abudagga sat down with Jobber Nation for overall assessment about recent industry climate and any updates since our previous cover story.

Last year, Abudagga mentioned staffing challenges as a concern when it came to growth plans for HDAP Discount Auto Parts. When it comes to addressing those challenges since then, Abudagga feels as though the problem is being addressed by aiming towards younger generations with promotion of the show and encouraging training of fresh techs.”This show is part of exposing and making people understand the industry and fall in love with it,” he says. “So that’s what we’re here to do.”

Commenting further on the future of apprenticeship and training, he noted further the focus on close relationships with local colleges. “In the show right here, we’ve seen Mohawk College doing training for the future,” he says. “We try to take advantage of whatever government programs are out there,” in reference of assistance for subsidized training and upskilling, such as EV training courses- which is also a recent Jobber Nation reporting focus.

Naturally, there is curiosity about local concerns around tariffs and how Hamilton is affected as a “steel town”.

Abudagga remains positive about the aftermarket’s resilience. “The tariffs will be challenging for all industries, not just automotive,” he says.

“We evolve and adapt as we have to and deal with the issues as they surface. The aftermarket has always survived the ups and downs of the economy- people are always going to need their cars. Repairs will always be needed, even if there are less miles driven.”

Attendees gathered for numerous interactive product demos.
