Genuine Parts Company has announced that due to the emerging public health impact of the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) it is shifting its 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to a virtual only format.

The Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time, as previously announced, but shareholders will not be able to physically attend the meeting.

As described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting previously distributed, one is entitled to participate in the Annual Meeting if a shareholder as of the close of business on February 18, 2020, the record date. To be admitted to the virtual Annual Meeting at www.meetingcenter.io/286769548 (Password: GPC2020), you must enter a valid control number found on your proxy card, notice of internet availability, or an email previously received from Computershare.  If you do not have a control number, you may access the meeting as a Guest.

Whether or not you plan to attend the Annual Meeting, we urge you to vote and submit your proxy in advance of the meeting as in past years by one of the methods described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting. The proxy card included with the proxy materials previously distributed will not be updated to reflect the change in location and may continue to be used to vote your shares in connection with the Annual Meeting.
