First Brands Group, a global automotive parts company, has acquired Centric Parts, a leading manufacturer and supplier of replacement brake components, whose labels include Centric, C-TEK, Posi Quiet, and StopTech.

The acquisition has strengthened our supplier position to support all customers with one of the most comprehensive portfolios of replacement products in the North American automotive aftermarket.”

The acquisition is effective immediately.
The latest acquisition comes a few short months following First Brands’ acquisition of Brake Parts Inc. and Champion Laboratories and its LuberFiner brand , in July 2020, adding to its existing portfolio that also includes FRAM filtration products, TRICO wiper blades, ANCO wiper blades, Carter fuel and water pumps, Autolite spark plugs, and StrongArm lift supports.
