Curbside Chat is a video podcast series on issues of concern to the aftermarket in Canada. Accordingly, this episode is slated to provide “A North American perspective, trends and insight of the aftermarket supply chain.”

The podcast provides an opportunity to interact with the host and his guest.

About Mauro Cifelli

Mauro Cifelli is the President and CEO of Groupe Del Vasto, a privately held company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec and a leader in the distribution and marketing of automotive parts for the repair of vehicles.  The company is a shareholder of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance and has 8 distribution centres across Eastern Canada servicing its network of Auto Value Parts Stores and franchised service dealer locations branded as Mister Muffler and Octo Auto Service. 

Mauro joined the organization in 1994 and has held a variety of positions in the business areas of Information Technology, Sales, Customer Service and until 2018 served as Groupe Del Vasto’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Prior to joining Groupe Del Vasto, Mauro gained his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Concordia University in Montreal.  

Over the past 27 years, he has played a pivotal role within the organization. His inspiring leadership, recognized management skills and extensive knowledge of the industry serve him well in driving the advancement of the organization’s vision and mission.

Mauro served as the Chairman of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada at both the Provincial and National level and most recently served as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association, which represents the interests of warehouse distributors across North America. He also serves as director and treasurer of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Board of Directors, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world with over 5,000 parts stores and certified service centers.

Mauro lives in Montreal with his wife Marilena and their 3 children.
