Aftermarket industry watchers will be taking note of the much-anticipated Advance Auto Parts, Inc.,first-quarter results report, scheduled for Wednesday May 29.

In additions to the financial results, aftermarket professionals and analysts alike will be looking for early news of the anticipated sale of the WORLDPAC unit, and further news of Advance Auto Parts’ Canadian operation, Carquest Canada, also being offered for sale.

In the previous Q4 and year end results call on February 28, 2024, Advance CEO Shane O’Kelly indicated that an announcement of the sale of the WORLDPAC business was possible by end of the second quarter (which end in July), with activities regarding the “potential sale” of Carquest Canada to follow.
