UAP, a leading Canadian distributor of automotive and heavy vehicle parts and services, is officially launching the celebrations of its 100th anniversary.
Throughout 2026, the organization will roll out a series of initiatives and events across the country to mark a century of history, innovation and commitment, while clearly setting its course for the future.
To launch this milestone year, UAP chose to put forward those who have been at the heart of its success since 1926: its team members. This deeply human approach is reflected in an integrated communications campaign, anchored by a cinematic manifesto video supported by an original soundtrack created and performed by talents from within the organization.
A unifying gesture to mark a century of innovation
Designed as a symbol of continuity and forward momentum, the production adopts an epic and emotional tone. It celebrates the passage of time, the legacy passed down through generations, and the collective determination to continue paving the way for the next 100 years.
The narration is carried in part by the voice of Alain Masse, President automotive of NAPA North America, alongside UAP’s newly appointed President, Alain Primeau. Their joint on-screen presence embodies a powerful passing of the torch, rooted in stability, confidence and long-term vision, bridging the organization’s heritage with its future ambitions.
An original soundtrack created by team members
At the heart of the project lies a distinctive artistic initiative: a Canada-wide call to UAP team members to uncover musical talent within the organization. Seven individuals from different roles, regions and operational realities were selected to take part in a unique studio recording experience in Montreal.
Guided by established music industry professionals, they brought to life an original composition that goes beyond a traditional corporate production and captures the collective spirit of UAP- one defined by collaboration, passion and shared expertise.
A flagship publication to pave the way
In parallel with the manifesto video, UAP also marked the beginning of its 100th anniversary with the release of the first edition of an 80-page magazine, which was launched and distributed in January as part of the centennial celebrations.
Produced as a limited-edition publication, the magazine was shared internally with UAP team members and distributed to a select group of close partners, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to recognizing those who actively contribute to its evolution.
Built around the theme “Leading the Way,” this inaugural edition highlights key milestones in UAP’s history, its core values, and the central role played by team members across the country. It forms part of a large-scale, integrated communications campaign unfolding throughout the anniversary year.
A year-long celebration true to UAP’s identity
“For us, it was essential that this 100th anniversary begin with a meaningful gesture that reflects both our legacy and our ambition for the future,” said Caroline Aubin, Corporate Communications Lead at UAP.
“Placing team members at the centre of the story – both creatively and narratively – was an obvious choice. They are the ones who built UAP and who continue to pave the way today.”
Through this year-long program, UAP aims to honour its past while reaffirming its position as a Canadian leader driven by innovation, collaboration and a forward-looking vision.
