The year that was 2025 brought more than its fair share of disruption to the aftermarket, but the main theme, if there is one, is that our Canadian readership was really plugged into what is happening here, in Canada.
There are a couple of notable Honourable Mentions to this Most Read List. Firstly, every one of our print issue digital editions would have made this list, but it’s our practice to consider only individual stories.
You can check out these issues and cover stories by clicking on here: AIA Canada Chair Tony Kuczynski: The Team Player; Colonial Group’s Fourth Generation Steps Forward; Running Down a Dream: HDAP Discount Auto Parts. This last one’s cover story made it to the Top 10 of its own accord as a web story.
One story which continues to develop is that of First Brands Group. News stories on the large aftermarket entity’s debt crisis, U.S. Chapter 11 filing, and shifts in leadership would have easily made the Top 10 Most Read if they had been a single story, but as it was spread over several news stories, over several months, it didn’t make the cut despite the ongoing industry interest. You can check out the ongoing coverage here.
We will of course continue to follow this and other developing stories of note for Canada’s automotive aftermarket.
Without further ado, please enjoy our annual presentation as once again we count down the Top 10 Most Read Aftermarket Stories of the Year!
