The aftermarket is always a dynamic industry full of excellent career opportunities for auto care professionals thorughout the supply chain.

Here’s a rundown of some recent moves:

Geoff Wells announced starting a new position as Director – Direct Sales at East Penn Canada. Wells has been with the organization since 2011 and was most recently Manager — National Accounts.

Andy Tikkanen has shared that he has been promoted to Director of Operations Southern Alberta at Fountain Tire.

David Thompson of Hampton, N.B. has announced he has accepted a role as Store Manager at NAPA Canada. Thompson spent nearly 30 years at Hampton Auto Supplies Ltd.

Glen Horner has accepted a role as Account Manager at Hamilton Discount Auto Parts. Horner has a long history in the aftermarket, much of it with Wakefield Canada (22 years). He most recently held a position at Canusa Automotive Operations before his most recent move.

Daniel Hanson II is now Director – National Sales at Blue Streak Electronics Inc.. California-based Hanson has a long history in the aftermarket and was most recently Vice President Sales for Encore Automotive. He is also active in industry organizations includng the Auto Care Association and CAWA.

Ryan Beattie of Brampton, Ont., has shared that he is starting a new position as Vice President at Caruk & Associates. Beattie has been with the sales agency for more than a decade holding positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President Sales. Prior to his tenure at Caruk & Associates he spent time with Norton Abrasives.

Gabriel Larocque is starting a new position as Director of Non-Tire Programs at Point S Canada. ” I’m looking forward to working with a passionate team and contributing to the growth and innovation of our partnerships and service offerings across the network.” Larocque moves to Point S Canada from Uni-Select Inc., where he spend eight years in a variety of roles, most recently as Category Manager.

Brian Lebowicky has started a new role as Territory Sales Manager, Automotive & HD Aftermarket at NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada Ltd. Prior to this recent move, Lebowicky spent more than 25 years with Spectra Premium Mobility Solutions.

Specialty Sales and Marketing Inc. announced the retirement of Rob Vatcher, who represented the agency in Atlantic Canada. Says the agency: “For the past 38 years, this individual has put his heart and soul into ensuring the success of SS&M. To date, he is the longest reigning SS&M employee with the company and although we are sad and he will be very missed, we do want to recognize him for his lifetime commitment to SS&M and the customer base in his territory. Congratulations and wishing Rob Vatcher the very best as he moves off into his well-deserved retirement!”

Sadra Behbahani has announced that he has joined Spectra Premium Mobility Solutions as the Sales Director for Canada. Says Behbahani: “Spectra Premium has a unique and immense potential, and I’m eager to unlock it by working closely with our teams and customers—some of whom we’ve proudly partnered with for decades. Excited for the opportunities ahead and looking forward to driving growth and success together!”
