LIQUI MOLY has announced the start of local motor oil production in the United States. This new step allows the company to serve U.S. customers quicker and with more flexibility.
The lubricant specialist will offer additional formulations tailored to heavy-duty vehicles and both American and Asian car models.
The new U.S. production is specifically designed to provide extra capacity only for the U.S. aftermarket, allowing LIQUI MOLY to offer new additional formulations tailored to heavy-duty vehicles and both American and Asian car models from within the U.S., says the company.
LIQUI MOLY motor oils from the new U.S. production are now available to the market.
Jobber Nation has confirmed that there are no changes for Canada and that products for Canada will continue to be supplied from the company’s German production plant.
The oils from U.S. production are available in 55-gallon drums, 265-gallon totes and up to 6,500-gallon bulk tankers. Soon also 1l and 5l containers will be added.
“Our valued customers can rely on the same performance, protection, and reliability they’ve come to expect,” emphasized Sebastian Zelger, CEO of LIQUI MOLY USA.
The company notes that the current product portfolio with LIQUI MOLY’s oils will continue to be produced in Germany and that U.S. and Canadian customers can be ensured they will continue to receive the current product portfolio as in the past.
“By blending locally, we gain the advantage of quicker delivery times and reduced transport costs from Europe, making our operations more flexible and responsive to local demand. We’re excited to provide our partners and customers with a new tool in the toolbox that helps us serve the market better,” said Zelger.
