Bestbuy Distributors recognized top suppliers and long-standing shareholders at its recent Buy & Sell event in Montreal.

The event attracted suppliers and shareholders from across Canada for a multi-day set of one-on-one meetings, with all coming together for a gala award dinner.

The organizations top supplier accolade, the Horace J. Pratt Vendor of the Year Award, was presented to ProMax Auto Parts Depot.

The award recipient is selected by Bestbuy shareholders and presented annually to a vendor partner in recognition of their excellence in service, sales performance and support.

“We are honoured to be recognized as Vendor of the Year for Bestbuy Distributors Limited,” said ProMax in a statement. “We are proud that our hard work and commitment to excellence is acknowledged and valued by the members.”

The Cornerstone Award for developing shareholder business on a foundational basis was presented to Dayco.

The Bestbuy Partner Award as determined by Bestbuy’s Management team and was presented to Mevotech.

The Bestbuy Rising Star Award went to U.S. Motor Works, and the Marketing Partner Award was presented to Dorman Products.

Bestbuy also took the opportunity to recognize shareholders for milestones as part of the organization.
