Aftermarket organizations figure strongly in ‘Best Managed Companies’ awards

Aftermarket companies are well represented in the recently released “Best Managed Companies” awards for 2025.

Established in 1993 by noted consultancy Deloitte Canada, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is the leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian headquartered companies with revenues of $50 million CAD or greater.

Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.

Award applicants are examined across four categories of a company’s structure: strategy, capabilities and innovation, culture and commitment and governance and financials.

“Over the 32-year history of these awards, Canadian companies have shown resilience and adaptability through economic highs and lows, and this year is no different,” said Lorrie King, national co-leader of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program and partner with Deloitte Private.

“We are honoured to recognize this year’s Best Managed companies across Canada, who excel in all aspects of their business. These companies all help drive Canada’s productivity and innovation, which bolsters our economy, so it’s important to recognize their accomplishments and showcase them as examples and inspiration to the broader business community.”

The awards as noted go beyond financial success. Financial strength is certainly important when determining a company’s stability however, says DelBest Managed is an all-encompassing program which focuses on a number of areas to measure management strength.

“To maintain high standards of excellence within a company, it requires leadership, but more importantly, an incredibly engaged team that is fully invested in the company’s vision,” said Stephan Guay, CEO, Transit Inc., named for the third year in a row.

“Being awarded Canada’s Best Managed for the third year in a row is a very humbling experience,” said Ezer Mevorach, CEO of Mevotech. “We’re extremely proud of that! The credit goes to the entire team. That’s who won this award. Their commitment to our customers, continuous improvement, and their forward-thinking mindset is the foundation of our success.”

“To be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies again, particularly in our 20th year, is an incredible honour and a reflection of the talent, dedication, and passion that exists across the Wakefield team,” said Dave Fifield, President and CEO of Wakefield Canada. “This recognition speaks to our belief in investing in our people, staying close to our customers, and always driving forward with purpose and integrity. It also underscores our deep commitment to the Canadian marketplace.”

It is with more than a little pride that CHAT Integrated Media Inc., — publishers of Jobber Nation and Indie Garage and producers of The Great Canadian Aftermarket Podcast—shares this list of aftermarket companies celebrating 2025 recognition as part of the Best Managed Companies awards program.
