PHINIA Inc. a diversified, industrial supplier and global leader in the development of fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket solutions, announced the publication of its 2026/2027 Worldwide Heavy-Duty and Off-Road Emission Standards booklet.

The booklet provides OEMs, engineers, policymakers, and other industry professionals with a practical reference to help navigate emissions requirements across global markets.

Updated every two years, the heavy-duty and off-road edition consolidates information related to emissions standards covering vehicles, engines, equipment, and machinery at a time when manufacturers are required to consider an increasingly broad range of emissions requirements.

Alongside standards addressing conventional pollutants, the 2026/2027 booklet also covers zero-emission vehicle and greenhouse gas emissions, including CO₂, helping users understand the wider regulatory landscape affecting vehicle and engine development.

To support comparison and interpretation of different requirements, the booklet brings together emissions limit values, standard test cycles, and testing conditions, alongside references to relevant fuel standards. It also provides an overview of on-board diagnostics and emissions monitoring.

The publication continues a project with more than three decades of history. First developed by PHINIA’s leading global aftermarket brand, Delphi, in 1993, the emissions standards booklet has been available as a resource for industry professionals seeking to understand changing regulatory requirements.

PHINIA most recently published a heavy-duty and off-road edition in 2024 and followed it with a light-duty edition in 2025.
