Plews & Edelmann launches “Missed Opportunities” campaign

Plews & Edelmann, a manufacturer and marketer of aftermarket auto parts, announced the launch of its new “Missed Opportunities” marketing campaign.

The initiative aims to address significant gaps in aftermarket parts coverage that are resulting in lost sales opportunities for distributors.

The year-long campaign kicks off with a video showcasing the nature by which the market is missing key exclusive SKUs that Plews & Edelmann developed to meet documented customer demand that is currently unfulfilled by others and how easy it would be to solve for these missing products. The video, available here – https://youtu.be/EbHu3T_M4Qc – takes a direct and attention-grabbing approach to highlight this industry-wide issue.

“Our research has identified numerous high-demand parts that customers are actively searching for but cannot find outside of Plews,” said Anthony Holguin, Director of Category Management at Plews & Edelmann.

“By developing these exclusive SKUs, we’re enabling our channel partners the opportunity to capture sales they’re currently missing while better serving end customers.”

The campaign will feature a series of direct communications to buyers and category managers at every level of distribution, highlighting specific high-demand products that Plews & Edelmann has exclusively developed.

The first products featured in the campaign include power steering components for popular vehicles such as the Dodge Charger and the Honda Ridgeline, addressing significant gaps in current aftermarket coverage.

“The aftermarket parts industry faces increasing pressure to provide comprehensive coverage while managing inventory efficiently,” added Holguin.

“Our exclusive products allow our customers the ability to enhance their coverage with minimal inventory investment, increasing the number of times they can say, ‘yes – we have that part’.”

The “Missed Opportunities” campaign will run throughout 2025 with regular introductions of additional, Plews only, exclusive parts that address documented market gaps.
